The E-Commerce Extra is a website shop / store management system compatible with Websiter, our standards based content management system.
The easy to use system will enable you to sell goods and services from your website and keep track of theorders.
Visitors to your site can browse and search through your products and purchase items by adding them to a virtual shopping cart / shopping basket.
When the customer has finished shopping they can proceed to the payment area or checkout where they are presented with an on screen invoice and a variety of payment options (you control which of these are available):
- Automated On line Card Payments - the customer enters their card details using an online payment gateway service see Merchant Accounts
- PayPal Payment - Take payments using the PayPal service.
- Manual Card Clearance - Capture card details on a SSL (Secure) web page and process the card manually using a person not present merchant account. There are additional costs for this option (see SSL Certificates).
- E-mail order + Phone Clearance - You receive the orders via email and you call the customer by phone to get their card details in the same fashion as conventional telephone sales.
- Postal Order - The customers prints out the order form and returns it to you by post with a cheque, postal order or card details.
- Telephone Order - The customers sends the order via the website and phones you with a account reference number to pay off.
- Fax Order - The customers prints out the order form and returns it to you by fax with card details.
